We operate 47 dining venues, including dining rooms, fast-casual, cafeterias, bars, employee facilities, delis and snack shops. It's high volume, fast-paced and fun! We’re hiring Food & Beverage Storekeepers to Live. Work. Explore. this summer!

Job Summary:
Responsible for working with production records and par sheets, ordering and inventory of all food, beverage, and paper products, as well as stocking and organizing shipments. We’re seeking candidates that have experience and understanding of high-volume kitchen operations. This position requires computer skills in Microsoft Excel and Word. Being able to remain calm in a high-stress environment is essential for this position.

Season Dates: Late April 2024 - Late October 2024
Pay: $15.50/hr - $16.00/hr
Schedule: Typical schedule is 40 hours, 5 days/per week (may include weekends, evenings, and holidays)

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for receiving, storing, issuing, transferring or returning items that are used in the operation. Store food according to established food safety standards, i.e. raw foods below cooked and ready to eat. Maintain documents relating to Sanitation SOPs, including temperature tracking sheets for receipt of goods.
  • Ensure that items needed to produce menu items in all outlets are available and in a ready to use form.
  • Produce, distribute, and file all necessary documents to support the receiving, storing, transferring, or returning of items used in the operation.
  • Communicate with the Food & Beverage management team any discrepancies in the order and follows the correct procedure for zeroed items from the location warehouse.
  • Establish and maintain order in all walk-in coolers, freezers, dry storage areas, food and non-food storage areas, including following up after other staff and removal of empty containers.
  • Responsible for the sanitation and cleanliness of the dry storage areas and walk-ins immediately following the receiving and storing of all items to those mentioned areas.
  • Rotate product in all areas to represent a first In, first out philosophy of product usage.
  • Assist with the physical count of all food inventory items at the end of each fiscal period and bi-weekly as directed.

Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of all products used to include: how to handle, how and where to store, how long it will last.
  • Working knowledge of administrative duties including: use of production records and par sheets, inventory procedures, ordering procedures,
  • Ability to organize and prioritize under pressure while maintaining a calm and pleasant demeanor.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, and supervisors.
  • Ability to accomplish common tasks with little direct supervision.
  • Computer skills helpful, programs include Excel, Word, and CloudSuite ordering system.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time, approximately 8 hours.
  • Must be able to walk for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 70 pounds.
  • Must be able to bend, stretch, and reach for extended periods of time.
