Greet and convey a positive attitude towards all guests that come into Snorkels. Make and serve guest beverages by following a standard recipe. Multitask by taking orders while also making the beverages guests have ordered. As a customer focused organization, a crucial part of each employee’s job is to get and keep guests.  A key part of every employee's job is to serve as a Targhee ambassador, engaging the guest at every opportunity.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Serve resort guests in a timely and courteous manner, strong people skills.
  2. Ability to make all drinks on the menu.
  3. Receive payment and make change.
  4. Cleaning of the food/ drink preparation area.
  5. Operate all machines needed in order to construct beverages.

Responsibilities To Safety

  1. Protect the safety of self, co-workers, and resort guests at all times.
  2. Report any potentially harmful equipment or situations to the immediate supervisor without delay.
  3. Report safety-related accidents and incidents at once to immediate supervisor.
  4. Follow all company and department safety policies and procedures.
  5. Operate equipment in a safe manner that will not lead to injury of yourself or others.
  6. Drive in accordance with the law and resort policies.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS 

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or GED, prior barista experience preferred. Three to six months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.  Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to calculate figures and measurements. Calculating the amount of change for guest. Must be able to measure the correct amount of ingredients to create the correct drink.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
