Housekeeper/Server

Chelatna Lake Lodge

In need of a seasonal hospitality crew member for a remote lodge in Alaska. This crew member will primarily help with housekeeping and serving in our dining room. This position will start around June 1, 2024 and go through September 30th, 2024 (with possibilities of a shorter duration). The lodge is located 100 miles North of Anchorage and is only accessible by aircraft. The lodge specializes in adventure tourism such as fishing, hiking and photography. We have four guest cabins and can house 16 total clients. Employees will be provided accommodations in our staff cabins or main lodge, as well as meals for the duration of their time here.

The work day usually begins around 7:30am and ends around 8:00pm with a 2-3 hour break in the afternoon (~2:30pm and 4:30pm). The schedule does change but this is typical for most of our groups.

Duties include:

• Daily cleaning of guest chalets, main lodge (including dining room, living room, kitchen, bathrooms and porches) and hot/tub sauna area.
• Set dining room for meal times, serve meals to guests, bus tables, and wash dishes.   
• Prepare sack lunches for fishermen.
• Daily laundry for guests (ie. towels, bedding, etc.)
• When clients are not in camp, all staff members work on deep cleaning duties and other projects around the lodge.

Staff are welcome to use boats, paddle boards and other recreational equipment during their time off. We usually take a few staff fishing trips downriver during the course of the summer.
