About Alaska Galore Tours

Alaska Galore Tours offers guests an opportunity to engage in many different high-quality activities in and around Juneau including whale watching and land tours. We work with independent travelers and cruise ship guests. We also hold contracts with the major cruise lines and work directly with their staff to ensure our mutual guests have the best time possible while visiting Juneau.

Juneau Lighthouse Tours offers guests an opportunity to explore the historic Sentinel Lighthouse in combination with world class humpback whale watching and marine wildlife search. We work with independent travelers and cruise ship guests. We also hold contracts with the major cruise lines and work directly with their staff to ensure our mutual guests have the best time possible while visiting Juneau.

Harv and Marv's Outback Alaska offers guests an elite 3-hour whale watching tour that strives to go above and beyond guest expectations. We book exclusively through our own reservation team with no third party vendors...no cruise ship contracts, no travel agents, no tour brokers. We feel the guest's experience begins when they make the first contact with Kayla or Colleen for a reservation and ends when we return them to their ship after an amazing experience they will never forget!

We strive to assemble a team that is passionate about delivering outstanding customer service and are friendly, outgoing, and interested in meeting and getting to know new people in a spectacular setting. Our ideal candidate has stellar communication skills, the ability to lead, interact and engage with a group, and a cool head to think on their feet and tackle whatever challenges may arise.

Room and Board

Alaska Galore Tours assists with provide housing, we have some shared living space apartment units, and we are well connected in the area and are happy to offer help and advice in navigating the local Juneau rental scene.

The shared living space fee will dependent on the number team members that we end up housing. The range will likely be from $750-$1200. We do not include meals.

Employee Perks

Alaska Galore Tours has reciprocal arrangements with other operators in the area, which allows our staff to enjoy discounted adventures sampling other tours and excursions.

We host regular team events and enjoy gathering for a planned activity or just a nice bon fire and BBQ to visit and relax!

Getting Here and Getting Around

Juneau, Alaska, with its pristine beauty, amazing landscapes and incredible wildlife is land-locked, which means the only way into Juneau is by Air or Sea. 

Alaska Airlines is currently the only jet service into and out of Juneau, and provides multiple flights daily.

To travel by sea, many adventurous folks drive to Skagway Alaska, Bellingham Washington, or Prince Rupert British Columbia and catch the Alaska Marine Highway Ferry.

We advise all team members to acquire (or bring your own) vehicle while in Juneau. Public transport is available, note the schedule is limited. A bicycle is not an acceptable means of transport to and from work due to the typically inclement weather and distance between work locations (as much as 16 miles).
