Spend your summer on a bicycle! Guiding our bicycle tours takes a high level of organization and strong customer service skills including a positive, outgoing, friendly attitude. It helps to have a basic knowledge of bike mechanics. Interest in learning about and presenting information on the history and ecology in our area is important. All guides drive the tour vans and must be able to pass DOT and insurance requirements.
Skagway guides work 2-3 tours per day with possibilities for overtime during the busy summer months. Work is available every day and most of our Skagway team works full-time May through September. For 2024, we are hiring positions starting as early as April 29 or as late as May 20. Most of our employment contracts are 3-5 months in length and include an end of season bonus.
Our Skagway positions also have the option to live in our subsidized housing.
